Having been involved in a number of new build projects during my career I have developed a fascination with the power of learning spaces. This has included working with architects around the design and furnishing of a RIBA award winning school. I have also learned much about how to inhabit spaces and develop new pedagogy. Presenting workshops in Denmark, Germany, to the DfE and for the Association for Learning Environments is something I love. I contributed to the book Planning Learning Spaces by Murray Hudson and Terry White (2019) writing about how space can provoke learning.
