During my time as founding Principal at REAL School in Budapest, I grew the school and established the school's approach to Project Based Learning. Our projects had a strong community dimension linked to sustainability, art and entrepreneurship as shown in the film below. The school gained the COBIS patrons award during our accreditation and was recognised as the first Beacon school for Leadership in the School and also gained Beacon School status for Ethos and Values. There were COBIS commendations for our curriculum approach and methodologies which were described as inspirational. The school was We also supported students displaced by the war in Ukraine who came to REAL School. I trained Ukrainian educators in Project Based Learning from a nearby Ukrainian centre that we worked closely with.
